NEPHOSCOPE
2014

Nephoscope is a moving sculpture consisting of a fixed and a moving part. It is a horizontal disc of 18 cm contained between two layers of glass. At the periphery of this disc a topographic representation made of cast bronze looks at the center of the circle where a cloud is manifesting itself.

It is an inverted representation, a map of an imaginary world in which I wanted to place the atmosphere in the center. A dominant current drags the clouds in a clockwise direction however the vie

wer can modify the convent by a simple push of a button creating chaos in the dynamics of the clouds.
