LIGHTNING AMMUNITIONS
2014-2020

Lightning Ammunition is a multiple composed of compressed air cartridges, harvested during lightning captures using a portable extractor designed by the artist.

Each cartridge is unique, containing a singular charge of atmospheric energy, marked by the sky at the precise moment of its harvest. The time, date, and GPS coordinates of the captured lightning strike are engraved on each cartridge, giving each one its own identity.

Currently, there are 114 unique pieces, of which 30 are gathered in a dedicated travel case. The cartridges can be presented individually or in series, evoking meticulous collection and the immediacy of energy captured in nature.
