(THE BOOK OF JOB)

In Le Livre de Job (The Book of Job), the artist recopies the book of Job from the Bible, warning us against the divine omnipotence, on cigarette paper of the JOB brand. The performance lasts 8 hours and takes place in various parts of the Hartung Bergman Foundation, Antibes, France. The JOB brand has its production facilities in Perpignan, the artist's home town in the south of France. To realize this rewriting, Marie-Luce Nadal is helped by a headband. The book is written with squid ink.
Le Livre de Job is also a miniature work about time and physical trial.
