WINE (VAIN) OF GRACES
2016-2017
7 unique pieces made during the ritual occurring during the harvest of the first vintage of Wine (Vain) of Graces. These are sculptures containing 5.25L of a wine for the use of all those who seek to seize what cannot be caught. The wine is extracted from a Carignan vineyard planted by the artist’s great-grandmother in 1900 and cared for by the artist’s sisters today. This first vintage is a tribute to the stars and more particularly to the Constellation of Taurus which was the brightest at harvest time.
