MAKE THE CLOUDS CRY N°2
2021

Make the Clouds Cry is an outdoor performance directly inspired by Marie-Luce Nadal’s grandfather farming practice of cloud seeding. At dawn or dusk, following a fencing duel, she utilizes a crossbow crafted from steel and barbed wire, loaded with ammunition consisting of breath, sulfur, and dynamite, to shoot into the clouds and induce tears from the sky.

Film produced with the support of Musée des Abattoirs, Toulouse, and the Maison des Arts Georges et Claude Pompidou, Saint Cirq Lapopie, France.
