DIVINITÉ DE LA BRUME
(DEITY OF THE MIST)
2016-2017
In Divinité de la Brume (Deity of the Mist), Marie-Luce Nadal wears a fencing costume, adorned with the mask of the deity of the mist. The artist exposes herself as a warrior, heroine of a new narrative, that of the poetic detour of science and the reappropriation by women of the masculine culture of the earth.
Through the mist, a new vision of the environment is revealed. In a dreamlike atmosphere, the artist invokes natural phenomena instead of constraining them, and the field of vision becomes clearer.
