The project Les substances climatériques (Climateric Substances) is both a group of people and a performative project in perpetual reconstruction.
Through this project, attention is paid to elements that, in the theater, play only a secondary role. Most often used as scenery or props, these elements become the main characters of a random synthetic ecosystem, controlled by "manipulators".
This performative installation, which can be adapted to different types of space, produces substances in an empirical way. A slow superposition of actions that provokes random chain reactions. The relations of cause and effect, gradually implement synthetic landscapes with a fragile balance.
Artists invited for the first edition: Jimme Cloo, Marion Flament, Charlotte Gautier, Tom Huet and Annie Leuridan.
